Personally, for the costume design I think he’s a little young for skin-tight muscle suits. I kind of liked the looser outfits I saw you fiddling with earlier on, but that’s just my own view. Either way he’s lookin’ bad-ass.:D

Oh god, you just draw the most visceral things. Its a welcome change from the usual webcomics on this internet, but that’s not gonna bring my appetite back.

I’ll take that as a compliment

Awesome. I love seeing the developmental images of other artists. I’m sure I am echoing other fans by asking for more ‘behind the scenes” stuff, Burrrell. Anyway, you say you draw with a Cintiq. Which model is it? I have been considering getting one, but I don’t ever really do anything small, lol, so I was actually thinking about getting the 22 or the 24HD. It isn’t really easy for me to shell out about three thousand dollars right now (I’d have to take out a loan to do it), so any advice or feeedback that you have about the Cintiq would be great. Anyway, thanks a lot. Good luck and keep working.

Hey Larry, I hope all is going well. I’m currently using the Cintiq 12WX. I do pretty well on it now, it took a little getting used to, and during that learning period, I swore to high heaven that I wasted my money, but after a while it started to feel natural and I know now that it was definitely money well spent. It’s served me well these past two years. My only complaints with it is when you get towards the edge of the screen the signal from the stylus pen begins to wane, causing your lines or menu selections to be a bit, or severely off, and its lack of more adjustable screen drawing angles. But these are things you get used to as you work on it.
Thanks to my editor I have had the opportunity to use the original Cintiq 21UX and I must say my workflow seemed to increase with the larger work space, she has hers mounted up on an adjustable desk arm and it was way comfortable to use (I am often hunched over my Cintiq due to the adjustable angle limitations). There were two versions of this model, both were replaced by the 22HD. The stylus pen’s signal still waned getting towards the edge of the screen. That’s my only beef with that model.
I also had a chance to play with the 24HD in a store and it was the best model I’ve used by far. Once I squirrel away enough funds I’m upgrading to that one. Bigger screen and NO signal wane at the screen’s edge. It is a thing of beauty.
Well that’s my Cintiq experience, hopefully you found it helpful, if you have any more questions, just drop me a line. Take it easy.
